V I E W P O I N T S
Using both the 6-Viewpoints and Bogart method, this workshop is geared towards a physical theatre practice for performers, ensembles, directors and choreographers of all levels. In this workshop we play with the deconstruction of time, space, shape, movement, emotion and story, as well as text and kinesthetic response.
Sample texts used: Ubu Roi, Harold Pinter’s works.
VOCAL IMPROVISATION
Borrowing from Roy Hart, Ruth Zaporah, and the unique techniques of vocalist Tom Weiser, this workshop explores the relationship between vocal play and structure. This is a perfect workshop for students and performers seeking confidence in the improvisational and musical setting.
M A S K W O R K
Employing the full and neutral mask, this workshop explores the fundamental dynamic between performer and audience, stage presence, and introduction to the red-nose clown.
